MENLO PARK, Calif., July 8, 2026 (V SOCIAL MEDIA HOLLYWOOD) – Meta has partnered with EssilorLuxottica to launch Meta Glasses, a new line of artificial intelligence-powered smart glasses that combine hands-free AI features, audio, photography capabilities and prescription lens compatibility.

Meta Glasses launch with 26 styles across three frame designs: Meta Adventurer, Meta Fury and Meta Glasses by Kylie, a collaboration inspired by Kylie Jenner's personal style. The glasses start at $299 and are available in multiple frame colors and lens options.
The glasses feature Meta AI powered by Muse Spark, Meta's AI model developed for its wearable devices. According tot he company, users can access AI features through a dedicated action button, capture photos and videos hands-free, make calls, listen to music and podcasts through open-ear speakers, and use voice controls powered by an advanced microphone array.
Meta also announced upcoming software features, including pedestrian navigation for displayless glasses, dynamic photo capture that automatically recommends the best image from multiple shots, and support for 14 additional languages for live translation.
Meta Glasses are available beginning today through Meta, Best Buy, Amazon, LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut and other participating retailers.

Universal Music Group and TikTok Sign Multi-Year Global Licensing Agreement
SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 26, 2026 (V SOCIAL MEDIA OF HOLLYWOOD) — Music entertainment company Universal Music Group (UMG) and social media platform TikTok have announced a new multi-year global licensing agreement aimed at expanding access to UMG’s music catalog and enhancing collaboration between artists, songwriters, and creators.

Under the agreement, TikTok will continue offering its global user base access to UMG’s recorded music and publishing catalogs. The companies stated that the deal will expand marketing and advertising opportunities for UMG’s artists and songwriters, including ecommerce integration and other artist-focused tools.

The agreement also includes provisions addressing artificial intelligence protections. TikTok and UMG will work together to remove unauthorized AI-generated music from the platform and improve artist and songwriter attribution.
The partnership builds on a previously announced agreement in 2024 and is intended to expand collaboration in fan engagement and artist development initiatives worldwide.
