Accenture to Acquire Creator and Social Agency Whalar

NEW YORK, June 9, 2026 (V SOCIAL MEDIA HOLLYWOOD) — Professional services company Accenture has announced an agreement to acquire Whalar, a creator and social agency, from Whalar Group.

Whalar will become part of Accenture Song, expanding the company's creator, influencer marketing, and social media capabilities. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Accenture Song’s ability to help brands connect with consumers through creator-led content, social commerce, and AI-powered marketing strategies.

Whalar has managed more than $600 million in creator campaigns and has worked with creators across more than 40 countries and 15 languages. The agency delivers creator marketing programs for brands across major social media platforms and generates billions of engagements annually.

Whalar's co-CEOs Emma Harman and Jo Cronk will continue in their leadership roles following the acquisition and will join Accenture Song along with more than 170 employees across the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and Spain.
